Before the boot camp, I went to the gym, ran, and lifted weights about 3-4 times a week. One thing I was concerned about with starting a program is that I can get bored fairly soon with it or that it might not be fun. Mike does a great job of keeping me motivated and kept in contact with me throughout the entire camp. If you are thinking about trying the camp the best way to learn is by doing. Everyone works at their own level and Mike keeps you going with encouragement.
